A Walk To Remember Movie Review
In Beaufort, North Carolina, Landon Carter(played by Shayne West) and his friends are the most popular group at their high school. Jaimie Sullivan(played by Mandy Moore) is the complete opposite. She's the preacher's daughter, wearing baggy dresses and the same sweater to school every day. Most people like her for her kind personality toward others. Landon and his friends however, make fun of her personality. Jaime notices this and presents them with a smile. When Landon gets caught pulling a prank involving a kid getting hurt on school property, he is told by the principal that he has to do community service in order to graduate, which involves tutoring disadvantaged kids and being part of the school play. It turns out that Jaime is also involved in all of these things and as Landon and Jaimie begin to spend more time with each other, they grow closer and begin to bond outside of school too and Jaimie tells Landon a devastating secret that might ruin their close bonding relationship.
In my opinion, this is a really good teen movie and might also be emotional for others. The book A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is also amazing.

movie review
this week i saw marmaduke . i liked his movie alot because it was realy funny. my favorite part was when the dogs were dancing it was very funny!!!
One movie that I was really looking forward to was "Alice in Wonderland." Although I don't have movie watchers remorse, (which means wishing that you had never seen it because it was that bad), I was disappointed. It was a great movie and all, but it was "based" on the book instead of "following" the book. If you have read Alice in Wonderland,(if you haven't read it yet stop reading this comment and go pick it up RIGHT NOW!), then you know what I mean. In the book, Alice is 9, not 19. There is no wedding, and the whole thing is a dream. Some people say the movie is more closely based on "Through the looking glass." In this sequel, she is going back to wonderland, which is again a dream. The fact that she is going back to Wonderland is the only similarity between the movie and the novel. If you have never read "Alice in Wonderland," don't go see the movie. Yes, some characters are the same, and the story is vaguely alike, but it doesn't follow the plot of this amazing novel. Tim Burton is an amazing director and I'll go see anything he is involved with, but I just wasn't quite happy with this version. Everyone has creative license. I understand that. It just disappointed me. All in all, it was a great movie however it just doesn't follow the book.
One great book I am reading is "The Sorceress: the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel." In order to explain this book, I'll have to basically talk about the series as a whole. I am half way through book three out of four. These two twin teenagers have what seems like a perfect life. Josh works in a bookstore and his sister Sophie works in the coffee shop across the street. However, everything goes crazy when John Dee attacks the bookstore. He is after the codex so the dark elders can regain control over Earth. Sophie and Josh are stuck in this magical world. There are no spells with this kind of magic, just raw power from their auras. Magic is very tiring, and if you use too much magic you might explode! A classic good vs. evil series, this riveting fantasy is for all those who enjoy an absorbing read.

My Book Review
I recently finished reading the book Thirteen Plus One, by Lauren Myracle. It was a very good book. It is part of a series called The Winnie Years. This series contains the books Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, and Thirteen Plus One. I really liked reading Thirteen Plus One. It is about a girl named Winnie who has two best friends, Dinah and Cinnamon, and also has a boyfriend named Lars. This book isn't just about her friends, though--you get to hear about Winnie's family as well. She has an older sister named Sandra, a younger brother named Ty, and a baby sister named Magnolia, plus two parents. Thirteen Plus One starts with Winnie's fourteenth birthday in March. We get to hear about what's going on with Winnie and her friends at school. Then, when summer comes, we get to see how Winnie spends her summer before high school. I thought that Thirteen Plus One was an amazing book, as were Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen. I recommend reading it, but I do think the story would make more sense if you read the books in order: Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, and Thirteen Plus One. Thanks for reading my book review! Taylor Swift is a country/pop singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitarist that has an amazing voice and creative songwriting skills. I love to listen, sing, and play my guitar to all of Taylor Swift's songs. To people who don't listen to her music much, her songs might sound the same, but if you listen, each one is unique. I have never heard a song like Taylor Swift's. She is irreplaceable and no one can sound just like her. I like Taylor Swift because she is so different from everyone else and she doesn't hire someone to write songs for her. When she performs, she really means what is in her songs and she is passionate about singing.

UGLIES book review:
This book takes place in the future. On their sixteenth birthday, everyone undergoes an operation to make them stunningly gorgeous. They live seperated from "uglies" and their life is a party, but not everyone wants to turn pretty. The way the pretties act makes some teenagers nervous, so they run away to the wilderness to a camp made by "pretties" run away. Tally Youngblood's best friend does not want to be pretty and runes away to the camp. Special Circumstances, like the government. Tally has to choose between betraying her friend and becoming pretty or never becoming pretty and keeping her friendship.
I liked this book because it was full of adventure and decisions.

Imagine how you would feel if you had to leave all your school friends to go work? Well, in Joshua’s Song, readers around ages 10-12 will enjoy suspense, and relations with the young boy Joshua. This 13 year old boy’s family is in tragedy during the great depression. His father had died from influenza and his Mom has it.
He was the only man in the household, so he had to give up school and find a job. He decides to go into the city to find a job. He meets “Charlestown Charlie” a newspaper boy and ends up working with him. He starts off making a $1 a day which wasn’t bad. Once he started shouting/ singing the headlines, he was making more profit. $1 was still rough.
One day he meets Mr. Muggeridge on the streets. Mr Muggeridge tells Joshua that he can make up to $5 if he gets a big story. Joshua takes up the offer and sets out to find a story. He does get $5. He gets a secret from a little boy. That’s when Charlie threatens Joshua to “back away” or he’ll lose his job.
Joshua was furious, but had a great plan. He could work by himself selling papers that he would buy directly from the newspaper company. Will his plan work?
In this non-sequel book kids will learn that in hard times you may need to step up to the plate and be a gentleman or a woman. It was interesting reading about past events and how people got through tough times. I know I would not want to skip school, just to work. I would rate this book a 10/10, because the author did an amazing job hooking me in, getting me interested, and he made the book suspenseful. -Amber H.

I watched "Some Like it Hot". The Actors and Actresses include Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, and Marilyn Monroe. In this movie Joe and Jerry(Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) are two jazz band players who accidentally witness a mob murder. They have to go into hiding but still need money. Their agent only had 1 gig for them, a traveling, all girls, jazz band. They must dress up as girls and try not to be distracted by all the beautiful women, especially Sugar (Marilyn Monroe).Later in the movie, Joe switches between a man and a woman to date Sugar but has to change back into a woman so Sugar won't get skeptical. Even though it was an old movie it still is very funny. This movie was made in 1959.

Movie Review:
Toy Story 3- This movie was an execellent move, and it deserves the raitings it gets. It had its funny moments, and it leaves room for a Toy Story 4.
CD Review: a cd that i really like is Nickelback -Silver Side Up. Its one of the best cd's i know.
Book Review: One of the books i liked is Found by margret peterson haddix, and its part of the Missing Series. It was really suspenseful and an amazing read!

Book Review: "Monster"
Steve's in jail, on trial for murder. He's young, he's terrified, and he's Black. He's sure no one will believe him. Does Steve even believe in himself? You decide when you read this fast-moving book written like a movie script. The courtroom mystery hits home with enough drama and realism to attract even reluctant readers.

I liked this CD because it includes special artists like Pitbull and Usher, it also has a special track with the Jersey Shore cast. Also he uses many new beats, to make his music sound fresh and newer.
Movie review for: Toy Story 3
I enjoyed this movie because they introduced many new characters and I liked how the director played out the whole story about them trying to escape the school. Also I thought that introducing new sides of characters was a good idea because people were all used to seeing their original personalities.

book review for Feathers by J. Woodson
There is no plot, but here are the elements. In 1971, with war in the background, Franny's brother is deaf, and her mother is pregnant again after several miscarriages. In school, there's a new white student in her all-black class, and her best friend thinks he might be Jesus, while the class bully can't seem to leave him alone.
