Personally I don't really mind books over 100 pages. "Girl Books" about teenage girls falling for there best friends boyfriends are getting so ANNOYING! However, I really can't find any other good books in the YA section of the library. Please let me know if you know about any good books that aren't "Girl Books". I am not a fan of what teachers suggest we read although most books aren't that bad. Thanks!
We have several recommended booklists available at the YA desk. Currently there are 9 lists on different topics, including books for girls. We are working on more lists, also, so keep checking back. We also have a girls book group that will meet on Fridays during the school year. Mrs. Bailey always has lots of good books to recommend there.
