Hey there YACsters! You have probably noticed that the blog has been pretty quiet lately. We are hard at work getting things ready for the fall. The fall brochures are ready at the Youth Services desk, so be sure to come on by to pick one up.
The first YAC meeting will be on September 18, so be sure to mark your calendars for that one. Remember that at the first meeting of the year, we will have elections. So if you are a returning YAC member, think about running for office.
Your postcards should arrive around September 11, but don't feel like you have to wait to RSVP until then. Sebastian already did! You'll still get a postcard, though.

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows this one guy's sister's best friend's brother who knows a fisherman from Maine named Ferris Bueller who's sister's son is pen pals with a guy who has recovered some top secret FBI files that state that at approximatly 1700 hours on September 18 2007, Amith Rao will approach 7851 Timber Drive and walk into the doors of the Tinley Park Public Library. There is a strong possibility he will be wearing a light blue T-shirt with the picture of a large mammal on it. Amith would also like to let the librarians know that he will be at the YAC meeting which is coincidetially the same exact time, date, and place as previously mentioned.
